ゴールデンウィーク

ヨルダンやイスラム教の国にとって、今週は日本のゴールデンウィークみたいです。
なぜかというと、今年はアルアドハイードは月曜日に始まり、木曜日に終わります。土．金は普通の休日です。日曜日は恵まれたアラファの日です。それで、休みは九日もなります！＾＾

私は小さいころからイードアルアドハを「大きなイード」と呼んでいました。それは、アルフトルイードより長いですし、イード玉ももっと多いです＾＾

アルアドハイードにムスリムは羊を切り殺して、友達や貧乏な人にプレゼントにとして肉をあげます。

出来る人はハッジ（巡礼）にサウジアラビアにあるマッカへ行きます。

私の両親は２年前向こうに行って、帰ったあとで彼らの気持ちを聞かせてくれました。
彼らの話を聞いて、テレビでマッカの写真を見て、ムスリムにとして私の心は恋々として熱望します。「私もあそこに行きた～～～～い！」という気持ちは高くなります。

みなさんはあそこにいつか行きますように！

يا سلام يا سلام .. طعام طعام .. لا أجد لي أي مرام، سوى تناول الطعام!

فمع صوت هديل الحمام، و بعد الاستيقاظ من المنام، تراني متوجهة للأمام، لا ليس نحو اهلي لإلقاء السلام ، بل إلى مكان وجود الطعام! لأبدأ معركة الالتهام ، أجل، إنها معركة بيني و بين الطعام ، لا بل هي هيامٌ في هيام ..

جبنة زيت و زعتر زيتون حلاوة و مربى مع الإدام، يا سلام يا سلام طعامُ طعام!

بعد درس عن الشبكات والأرقام، وآخر عن السلامة بشكل عام، تراني متوجهة للأمام، لا ليس للانترنت للاستخدام، بل إلى مكان وجود الطعام! بعد قليل ألتقي صديقتي، جائعة يا حرام! كيف لي أن أتركها تأكل وحدها؟! ستكون قلة احترام! هيا بنا يا بنت الكرام. ترانا متوجهتين للأمام، لا ليس للمكتبة للمطالعة أو الاستلام، بل إلى مكان وجود الطعام!

فلافل شاورما بيتزا بطاطا، وما أدراك ما البطاطا؟ إنها بين الأطعمة إمام! يا سلام يا سلام طعام طعام!

حسنُ، معدتي الآن ملأى ، الحمد لمن برأ الأنام .. محاضرةُ أخرى و انتهي وأعود للبيت بأمان وسلام..

رائحةُ شهية تنبعث من مطبخ أمي تبعد عني السقام، تراني متوجهة للأمام، لا ليس لتغيير الثياب أو الاستحمام، بل إلى مكان وجود الطعام!

كوسا محشي مقلوبة فاصولياء وأوزي الشام ... يا فرحتي يا فرحتي بكل هذا الطعام !

"يسلمو إيديكي يا ماما لقد وصلت لحد التخام!"

تراني ارقب الساعة بكل اهتمام، إنها تشير إلى الثامنة بالتمام، لا بد أن عندي موعداً هام، لا، ليس مع طبيب أسنان ولا مع طبيب عام، إنه موعد العشاء إنه موعد الطعام! تراني متوجهة للأمام، لا ليس لمراجعة دروسي قبل المنام، بل إلى مكان وجود الطعام!

لبنة خيار مكدوس فواكه أنا محتارة بلا ملام! ماذا آكل؟ فلنأكل من كل صنف من الطعام! يا سلام يا سلام .. طعام طعام .. لا أجد لي أي مرام ، سوى تناول الطعام!

هل أكل الطعام حرام؟ أو فيه إجرام؟ لا، بل "كلوا من طيبات ما رزقناكم" و احمدوا الله على الدوام ^_^

Maybe these words can show part of my story with food for the last two months, I don't know whether the food is more tasty in Autumn, or whether it's something related to the cold weather, when the body needs more energy so it asks for more food. But, expect the next post to be about food!

Well, summer is over (is it really over?). And now we are in the middle of the most beautiful, fantastic, amazing, interesting, enjoyable, wonderful, marvelous, impressive, unexceptionable, admirable, extraordinary season! (If I know more adjectives I will use ; ))

This post will contain a lecture(!) about momijis, some kanjis related to autumn, famous Japanese song for autumn, with some pictures I picked from the www.

Let’s start with MOMIJIs!

Momiji, “maple” in English, “قيقب” in Arabic has many different kinds all over the world; most of them are native to Asia, as written in Wikipedia. (Here, for Arabic version).

In Japan, maples are treated in a special manners, as there is a custom for viewing the changing colors of maples which is called 「紅葉狩り」＝「もみじがり」(狩りliterally means hunting)

This map shows the time in different regions in Japan when it is the time for “momiji gari”, it lasts from 10 October until 10 December:

Nikko, and Kyoto are the favored destination for this activity.

Maples distribution in Japan is affected by different Physiographic and climatic factors. (read here for more details) (And here for Japanese version).

Now I will introduce you some kinds of maples with different shapes and colors (I translated some of them to Arabic literally, and I choose other names depending on the shape! ^^)

Another names for momiji in Japanese are 〔楓＝かえで〕and 〔紅葉＝こうよう〕
The latin name for maple is “Acer”. (Who said that I don’t like Acer computers?!)

Kun-yomi : Aki 「あき」
On-yomi: Shuu 「シュウ」

meaning: leaf

2) 植物は葉緑素の働きによって生成さ れるものです。（ようりょくそ） (Plants are producers due to the chlorophyll) (?)

meaning: red

Kun-yomi: 「べに、くれない」
On-yomi : 「コウ、ク」
Special reading: 「紅葉＝もみじ」

Examples:

1) 「紅林」は日本の名字です。（くればやし） (kurebayashi is a japanese family name)
2) 紅海に行ったことがありますか。　（こうかい） (Have you went to the Red Sea before?)

あ！Safety at work!

"Concepts in General Safety" is the name of a subject I'm taking during this semester. I think it is an important subject and all students should study it, even that the lecture is not so interesting!
Well, sometimes it is interesting, or at least the time when the teacher showed us two films about how important is to obey the safety rules in the work place.
And how small mistake could lead to a disaster. One of the videos was about "terrible" piper alpha disaster, and the other was an animation video. which i liked so much!
After the lecture finished, of course, I went directly to the website where you-can-find-anything! And for my luck I found the video, and I like to share it with you.

ِA momiji trip .....

So, it has been 1 year since my blog started its trip. It started in the lovely autumn season, and now it completed its 1 year in the lovely autumn also!! (by the way, nice post about autumn is on the way^^)

Being very busy because of the millions (well, may be thousands) of home works, quizzes, exams, and projects, stop going to JICA's Japanese class, not having many chances to meet my friends (who have interests in Japanese) after they had graduated, like to share some of my interests in anime and Japanese language with some ones who have the same interests, improving my Japanese (and my English), having some stuffs to talk about ………. Many reasons “pushed” me to create this blog so I can keep “connected” to the “Japanese World”!

このブログのおかげでも、少し経験を得ましたよ！

Even though I didn’t write a lot of posts, but I hope that they were somewhat “Tanoshikatta”.

I would like to thank you all for your patience to read my posts and/or comment on them. I was really happy with all your comments. And from now on, I will try my best to write more frequently, and on subjects that are more (Or less?) interesting and useful. And I will wait for your comments!

素敵なアド！

Usually when I watch a drama, the worst time is when the commercials break starts!
But nowadays I started to like some commercials, I like the idea they use.

One commercial that I liked a lot, and I was waiting for the commercials break to start so I can watch it, was zain's advertisement in Ramadan.
Actually, I noticed that I like all zain's ads, what I like is the universality and the humanity that the ad presents.

わ～～～！寝坊ちゃった～！！

What the did I do??? :'(
Today I missed my 8 o'clock lecture just because I "nebouchatta"!!
It's my first time to miss a lecture for such a silly reason!! (-->usually i miss lectures for other reasons)

how did i do that?? :'O

I set the alarm clock as usual, but I don't know what happened! 0O?

waaaaaaaaa :'O............. my lovely communication lecture..... :'( :'( :'( :'(

I wonder if I can spend Eid without compunction! :'(

Summer + Ramadan = Ganbarimashou!

Ramadan Mubarak for all (^_^)/
This year, Ramadan came during summer time, for the next 10 years (if we still alive) it will be during Summer time also. So, Ganbarimashou!

Hopefully, during this Ramadan and next years we can renew our faith, improve our patience, and "taste" some feelings of others in this world.

Super Deluxe Musalla ^^

Last month I have started training at a computer company, during the training there is a break time where we can go to pray Aldhuhr prayer.
At the first day, not knowing much about the area, me and my friend searched a lot for a place where we can pray until we found this Musala, or I should say "Super Deluxe" Musala.
Actually it is about 5 minutes walking from the company, but the hot weather make me feel it as 5 hours! But, when reaching the Musalla I start to feel very "anshin" and "hinyari".
Beside the fact that being in a holy place make you feel with peace and calm, having air conditions all around the Musalla is another reason, I think.
Not only the air-conditions, the entire design of the Musala itself is very nice and compatible. When you reach you will find a sign holding the name of the Musala, then when you stretch your hand to open the very superior curtains, you will face in front of you a very beautiful writing:



you look at your right hand to see well arranged places to put shoes in.



to the left, nice corridor with nice arches




inside, wide place for praying with a very nice smell comes out from the corners


a special place to put Holy Quran and for showing the direction of Qibla.



Forget to mention: at the end of the corridor there is a mirror and in front of it some sweats you can eat, and if you didn't notice that, the the very kind responsible person will ask you to have some.
There is a special desk for her, with a computer, and a small library from where you can borrow some books.
And during summer I knew from her that every day there is some activities held in here for children who lives around this area, and in normal days there are lessons for women in different subjects.
How nice to take care of places that are important to us like this :)

So elegant, desu ne ^^

No better place to go to after a tiring work-day! ^_^

Okashii !!

هل هي طرق جديدة للاحتيال؟! قبل سنة تقريباً وكالعادة أنهيت دوامي في الجامعة وأردت الرجوع للبيت ، أوقفت سيارة تكسي و ركبت فيها. لم تمر دقيقة واحدة حتى راح السائق يحادث شخصاً على الهاتف يدعى الأستاذ علي. لم أكن أقصد الاستماع لحديثه ولكنني أعتقد أنه كان يقصد ذلك! كان حديثه كالتالي:

"يا أستاذ علي أنا آسف ما حكيت معك بس ما معي رصيد في التلفون، و إنت بتعرف الأوضاع، بنتي بالمستشفى دفعتلها 130 دينار و ضايلها 70 حتى يخرجولي ياها، قلتلهم إنو أهلي مش هون و معيش مصاري، وإنت بتعرف يا أستاذ علي الأوضاع، كنت مسجون عند اليهود و هربت قبل شهرين، أربع رصاصات في بصدري يا أستاذ علي، أهلي كلهم بالضفة وهون فش حدا يساعدني أنا آسف إني أزعجتك بقصتي بس إنت بتعرف الأوضاع يا أستاذ علي......."
واستمر حديثه هكذا ، وكلما كان ينطق بجملة أخرى كان قلبي يتفطر حزناً عليه!! في تلك اللحظة تمنيت لو أن معي المال الكافي لأساعده ولكن لم يكن معي غير أجرة رجوعي للمنزل ( الحمد لله)
على كل حال، الأسبوع الماضي أوقفت تكسي أنا وأخواي الصغيران ، وما إن ركبنا حتى رفع السائق هاتفه و راح يتحدث:
"أنا آسف يا أستاذ علي بس كان في شرطة ما قدرتش أحكي معك، لا هلأ ما في أنا عالإشارة مش مشكلة، والله يا أستاذ علي إنت بتعرف الأوضاع ......."
وسرد على الأستاذ علي نفس القصة التي سمعتها منه قبل سنة!!
لقد أردت أن أضحك بصوت عالٍ و لكني اكتفيت بالابتسام، نظرت إلى وجه أخي و إذا به يكاد يشرع في البكاء و عيونه متوجهة نحو السائق، أخي الآخر كان ينصت بإمعان لحديثه و يقلب النظر بيني و بين أخي.

بعد وصولنا للمكان نزلنا من التكسي، فبدأ أخواي بالنقاش حول قصة الرجل
"هربان من اليهود !"
"في أربع رصاصات بصدره يا حرام"
ثم قالا لي:
"ليش ما ساعدتي؟ ما سمعتي شو كان عميحكي؟"
تبسمت قليلا وقلت له: "الله بيساعده"

حقيقة لا أدري إذا كانت قصة مضحكة أم محزنة ولكني أردت عرضها للتنبيه فقط!

فإذا ركبتم يوما في تاكسي و راح السائق يحادث الأستاذ علي و يسرد القصة نفسها فلا تصدقوه
و دمتم سالمين ^^!

Japanese Proverbs (1)

Every semester-end I have to do what we call "Ta3zeeleh" for my room. Especially, my book shelves. Because the situation of them become very unbelievable.
I thought about taking a picture to post it, but then I decided not to do that. Because it was "very hidoi"!! To describe this "hidoi"ness, I think it is better to say that cleaning and rearranging the books took 3 days every time I do that!
Well, the extreme-untidiness is not the only reason for that. Another reason is that when I arrange the books I browse every book, and sometimes I stay to read all the book before putting it in its place.

Anyway, as you can notice from the title, this post is not to talk about my bookshelf, nor my untidiness. Actually it's about some Japanese proverbs I "discovered" during the "cleaning" process.

Last year I was studying Japanese with N-sensei, in that time I asked her to teach me some Japanese proverbs. And she was giving me after each lesson a card with a proverb wrote on it. I was looking forward to read what is wrote on the card, and then pasting it on a special notebook I made, called "Nihon no Kotowaza" notebook. I was very happy to find it between tens of books, 「なつかしいなー」。。。

Learning proverbs was very useful, fun and wonderful! The useful part was learning new words from the proverb, and knowing how people were thinking. The fun part was when I was trying to find a similar-meaning Arabic proverb, and when "okashii" words come out. The wonderful part was when I noticed that there is an exactly the same meaning proverb in Arabic for some of them! The same words, the same meaning, and also the same way of use!

I like to share with you some of these proverbs, and if you know a more-meaningful Arabic proverb match with any of them please tell me^^

便りのないのは良い便り
It means when there are no news, that mean that the news are good. No bad news.
In Arabic: (I didn't find a suitable one for this!:(

安物買いの銭失い
It means: Buying cheap stuffs is loosing money
(الرخيص بروح كب) (I wonder if it is in Syrian accent?)
(الغالي سعره فيه)

雨降って地固まる
Every time the rain falls, the land become more tough.
I also remember this "kotowaza" from T-sensei's class. It was very interesting.
In Arabic: (ما تاخد صاحبك إلا بعد القتلة)

早起きは三文の得
Waking up early equals 3 pennis, means it is a little good.
In Arabic: (نم بكير فيق بكير شوف الصحة كيف بتصير)

猿も木から落ちる
Even monkeys fall from trees.
In Arabic: (لكل جواد كبوة و لكل عالم هفوة)

かわいい子には旅をさせよ
Make your cute kid travel around.
I didn't find a suitable sentence for this one also:(

備えあれば憂いなし
If there were preparations, then no need to worry.
(من جد وجد ومن سار على الدرب وصل) かな？

鉄は熱いうちに打て
Please notice here how much it is similar to the arabic one which says:
(دق الحديد وهو حامي)!!

笑う門には福来る
From the laughing family(or house) the happiness comes.
(اضحك تضحك لك الدنيا)

住めば都
The place where you live is your country.
(من عاشر القوم أربعين يوم صار منهم) かな？

急がば回れ
If you were in hurry return back.
(في العجلة الندامة وفي التأني السلامة)

目は口ほどにものを言う
The eyes talk like the mouth

ジャラシのデッビーン、ナジダ

先週私は大学の友達とデッビーンとナジダへ行きました。
皆でいろいろな歌を歌ったり、ゲームをしたり、スケッチをしたり、おいしい食べ物えお食べたり、よく遊びました。とても楽しかったです。
いろいろな動物を見ました。景色もとてもきれいでした。たーくさんの写真を撮りました。
そこは涼しくて、とてもいい天気でした。アルハムドレッラー。

朝に早起きましたので、家の庭で「حلزونة」が見られました。
久しぶり会っていませんので、「حلزونة」を見るととても喜びました。（ところで、ハラゾーナは日本語でなんでしょう？）

お久しぶり、ハラぞーナちゃん！

葉の色に気づいてください＾＾

以前、「シカは草や木の葉を食べる」と決め付けていましたけど、このトリップのあとでちょっと考えを見直しました :「シカはファラフェルも食べる、シカはなんでも食べる」
